Apply for the Applied Scientific Research Award
Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant must be a Jordanian national
- Must have been employed at a Jordanian university or research center at any time between 2020 and 2025.
- The research must be accepted for publication or recently published (after 12/12/2024) in a peer-reviewed scientific journal.
- The research topic must fall within the fields of agriculture and food security.
Award Value
A cash prize of 25,000 JOD awarded to winning academic / researcher or team.
Evaluation Criteria
- Originality and Scientific Innovation
The extent to which the idea contributes to advancing knowledge or opening new research directions.
- Scientific Quality
The strength of the methodology, accuracy of the results, and clarity of the scientific analysis.
- Scientific Impact
The applicability of the research findings in real-world settings, and the contribution of the research to solving local, regional, or global challenges that support economic and social development.
- Adherence to Research Ethics
Scientific integrity and respect for intellectual property rights.
- Originality and Innovation
The distinctiveness of the idea compared to traditional solutions, and the creativity shown in its concept and execution.
